I know, I've only owned the watch for one week as I bought it on the used market.I was horrified when I received it and found a huge amount of side to side play in the Bezel. It's only 8 months old and in virtually unworn condition. I thought it best to send it to the service centre under warranty to get it fully checked over So I'm desperate to get it back to start enjoying it.
Amazing that it has had already two owners in such a short time Anyway, I can understand your frustration. Patience, it should be back to you shortly and you will start enjoying wearing it. It is an awesome, uncommon and rather unique watch.
Yippee, Just got the call from the AD to say it's back from the service centre and ready for collection.

It is really long… but it may mean that there are many issues otherwise the response and turnaround would be shorter. How does it compares with Rolex ?
By coincidence, I had an issue with the Bezel on my Rolex Submariner 116610LV. Right from the very first day I purchased it from the AD, I noticed that the Bezel didn't line up exactly with the Twelve o'clock position on the dial. After just over four years of ownership, This problem drove me to "distraction" I returned it to the Rolex service centre before the five year warranty elapsed. It took about four weeks to come back, and I called the service centre, who were very informative and helpful. It came back in a little Rolex travel pouch, which I thought was I nice touch. The Bezel now aligns exactly with 12 O'clock. I think the Bezel action of the Rolex is far smoother and easier to turn with its coin edge. By comparison, the Omega Bezel is harder to grip, and when I first turned it I was alarmed at how "clunky" the action was, not what I was expecting on a £8k timepiece. I'm hoping to go into the AD today to collect it. Fingers crossed, it will be perfect. I'll keep you posted with the outcome.
Andy.
Update. Collected my Omega NTTD today and I'm happy to report the Bezel has "zero" play, and the rotating action is twice as "slick" and so much easier to turn. I'd say it must have been "Shoddy" build quality. However, it did come back with a free Omega travel case.
Altogether, I'm very satisfied with the outcome.
That’s very very long for something which I believe should be fairly simple, unlike a movement issue…
Off topic...would love to hear about your system - speakers, tube amps, etc...
