Could not resist this beautiful dial and hands, cal. 30 T2 PC from 1947 It has a Dennison case that seems to be correct according to http://omega.watchprosite.com/show-...488/t-omega-dennison-omegas-a-potted-history/ ] ] ]
Yet another example of the near infinite number of beautiful dials for the venerable 30mm manual wind movement. To my knowledge no other movement by any other brand has the dial variation like this.
I have an RAF 6B/159 that has been re-cased by Dennson. Apparently the ones that never saw action were picked up by the company, the movements were put in better cases than the cheaper alloy the military used and sold to the public.
Nice Dennison. I like how the dial reflects. Gives the impression of a mother of pearl dial. Here one of mine, same case ref. 13322, but with a different dial and hands set, and a bit of character, but all intact. The interesting fact is that yours has a higher case serial # but a lower movement serial #, confirming that they did not follow a serial order when they encased them.
