Omega 2848 - Dial original?

Hello all,

a colleague offered me a 2848. The watch comes from his father, but he is not sure if the dial is original, because his father had the dial restored on some watches in the 90s. What do you think about the dial?

Thanks a lot, Andreas

Redial, fonts look off. Look at the C in automatic.
Minute marks are inconsistent.

Ok, thanks for the info, almost feared it :-(.

Redial but for me is still a nice looking watch.

In the collection are many beautiful watches, unfortunately most with restored dial. This one I also like very much, despite the restored dial - but i have no idea which model this is…

Best, Andreas

Very bad re-dials and over-polished cases.

I like it too and would wear it. It's been restored so not collector grade. The case has been polished a lot.
The first one I mean, not the second
