I don't really care to get down into the weeds on this, but the printing/font in this last example is not as convincing to me.

This dial detail photo is of an Ω ref 2849 / NM 6275 that I acquired from the daughter of the original owner. Note the difference in paint between 'Seamaster' and 'Calendar' - another example of alteration performed by the Norman Morris agency.

I think it's original, Dan, as those type of dials were obviously tricky to print on. And the retailer's name would have been added later, with, at times, lower QC than most manufacturers.

From my research, I also found ref.2627 without both words but with “swiss made” at 6 o’clock.
The serial no. was low as 12,529,xxx too.

I believe it was original dial but “WRIGHT ….” below AUTOMATIC was added later ?

So I believe that early seamaster calendar (date at 6 o’clock) without both seamaster and calendar can be found in both Swiss and Swiss made.

My old watch, and yes it was all original and retailer signature added after.
