·Hello everyone,
I bought an Omega 2753 online from a dealer; the dial is black. I am aware that these have often been refurbished, but since I have a 14-day right of return, that's not a risk.
The watch is really difficult to photograph because the plexiglass is too reflective. To me, the dial looks original—the Omega lettering is razor sharp and the index lines are all identical and aligned. The "Suisse" or "Swissmade" imprint is missing, but after doing a little research, I found that this sometimes occurs with watches from the 1940s and 1950s. This model is really rare online, but if you look at the product photo in the Omega archive, there is no mention of it being Swiss-made either.
What do you think of the dial?
Thank you very much, have a nice evening and best regards, Andreas
