    Hi All,

rather a strange story, but I was on a Photoshoot for work yesterday and while taking a break got chatting to a guy and he noticed my BlackBay58 and started telling me about his collection and that he had some watches to sell.
Long story short I bought one of his watches later that day, but without any time to research the watch or caliber. I took a flyer and gave him 300 euros for his Cal 266. It looks wonderful IMHO and over 24 hours keeps good time and has documentation for a service 2 years ago. Measures nearly 38mm with the crown, about 36mm without (i am using a ruler, sorry). How did i do?

    Happy Easter

    Chris

You did good, serviced and all.

Many would have looked for the perfect dial in the mind field of redials.

My first vintage watch was nothing to look at condition wise but I still love wearing it (left one)

Thanks, i im very happy with it.

It was spontaneous and impetuos buy. That the dial has some miles on it, case to, will just mean it sees more wrist time and i i worry less about damaging a perfect example.

    Happy Easter all!
