    First of all, hello to everybody!

    Can anywone tell me if this Omega 2624 is real, and if yes what is a fair value for it?

    That it is and that is was made in 1946 most probably. The problem is that I m not sure if I m right and I have no idea on the value... The watch and the bracelet are all 18k gold and I only have the box, no papers. I would kindly appreciate some help :)

    Dates to about 1950, badly refinished dial.

    Someone has hacked the lugs off and added the bracelet, so it's not really a 2624 anymore.

    Value would be the scrap value of the gold plus something for the movement.

    Not really. You need to have a watchmaker remove the movement, crystal and crown, then weigh the case and bracelet alone.

    Multiply first by alloy (0.585 for 14K or 0.75 for 18K) then by spot price of gold in your local currency. Add $100 to $200 for the movement and you will have your price range.

    I was refering to the movement $ value, for the gold was a easy calculation. Thank you for your help!

    If I were selling the movement. $150 as is or $175 after replacing the spotty Ratchet wheel with a cleaner one

    Movement looks clean. Sharp screw heads.
