Omega 2541.80 with cal. 1438 from 1993

Hello, new member with a question about my new to me Bond Seamaster… The watch came worth a tritium patina dial, but the movement made me a bit weary. It has an Omega branded cal 1438 movement with a case back reading 196 1503/396 1503. I am sure the watch is from 1993 based on the serial number starting with 54xxxxxx, I am just thrown off by the movement not being the plated 1538, but I read that in 1993 models the 1438 was placed. Any input would be welcome. I attached a few photos.
