hi guys, I have seen many times some oversized Omega (especially 2505) with a 30t2 movement. However, Omega database mentions those ref with 265 or 266. Do you know if some transitionnal models exist on those ref or if omega database is not up to date...or the watches I have seen have been recased ? Thanks for your help !
Hello Omega archives are not a perfect science. There are often some varations on movements and dials. The 30t2/265/266 are almost identicial. The 30t2 and 266 have an extra jewel on the second pinnion. The 265 does not.
Not transitional, quite prevalent. There are more than 30 references of 2505 and many more dials. The model was in production for something like 20+ years.
