Up for sale is an incredibly nice oversized Omega Calatrava reference 2505-21. I’m not an expert on these early Omegas so I let the pictures do most of the talking. However I’ll give my opinion about condition and describe it as best as I can. The stainless steel case shows some signs of wear especially on the lugs but appears to be unpolished. The edges are very sharp and the lug holes are still crisp. The watch winds smoothly, runs well and keeps good time. I don’t see any necessity for a service but the service history is unknown to me. From the research that I’ve done the dial is the best preserved one that I could find, so I think that’s a huge bonus. The 38mm case sits very well on the wrist and the brushed dial really pops when the sun comes out. If you need any further pictures or information to assess the watch, please get in touch. Price is €1550 head only plus shipment of your choice. No returns.
Some people interested but not quite there yet. I was asked for more pictures, so here we go with two wristshots outside...
