    Hello-

I came across this vintage Omega triple calendar and I was hoping to get some advice from the forum. Some quick research suggests that this is a ref. 2471. The seller claims it is solid gold, although I'm still waiting on photos of the inside of the caseback to confirm the karat. I actually own a similar vintage Heuer triple calendar, so I'm familiar with the movement and making sure the pushers work.

My concern is the dial. I'm worried that it's been redone. The main dial is in much better shape than the hands and the subdials, which appear faded. What do you guys think?

Also, the seller is asking for $5k. I believe this is too high, although if it is solid gold that makes it more reasonable. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your input,

    Austin

    1. Incorrect redial.
    2. Calendar hand way too short and tip should be a blue crescent.
    3. Case heavily polished.
    4. At least one of the day/month dials had been replaced. The printing should be the same font and size.

This thing looks like a mish-mash of parts. I'd stay away from it.
