    Hi everyone,

I wondered if anyone can help me with this watch.

Heres what I think I know so far -

    Omega 2325/7
    30T2
    1940s
    Probably later hands
    Looks Like an original dial
    Movement looks good

I have only seen one other watch online with this model number and it doesn't look the same - https://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/my...ga-454122.html

I have my heart set on buying a Seamaster 600 so will probably sell this on, and information on this watch would be amazing and also a valuation.

    Thanks,

    Etienne

Dial redone, maybe years ago and hands not correct -gold plated and metal case, no-
Crown maybe an original Omega but I think better would be a "mushroom" one.

    Hi,

Thanks for your opinion, may I ask why you think the dial is redone? Whats the give away?

Infill on the numerals is inconsistent/incomplete, Omega logo and lettering is incorrect.

Thanks Germanicus and x350 xJR, I realise I cant sell on this forum because I am not an experienced member.

Do either of you or anyone else have any advice on the value of this watch or know where I could find out that information.

    Thanks,

    Etienne

I’m confused Etienne. You say you’ve only seen one other model online.
Have you tried googling ‘omega ref 2325’ ???
    There are quite a few.
You’d see that your example is not very consistent with what is out there.
You want an evaluation of the value of the watch, it’s worth about $75 for the case and $75 for the movement. Good luck.

    Hi Rman,

I am new to watches so I don't know how the model numbers work, so yeah I have seen lots of 2325 watches but what does the /7 mean?

I have only found one other 2325/7.

    Thanks for your evaluation.

That means it’s the 7th version of the model.
All the information you need is here on the forum if you are interested and search.
If you are interested in a Seamaster 600 you can educate yourself beforehand so you don’t make the same mistake twice.
    Cheers
