Hi there, First post so be gentle and please advise if I am not supposed to be trying to sell in this section! I have just had my 1969 Speedmaster Pro refurbished by STS in Essex (awesome job by the way) and I am looking to sell the original 220 bezel that was on it. I know the die hards will give me some stick for not keeping it but the watch was my dads, he got it for his 21st birthday so I won't be selling it ever and wanted to give it the new look. ST1450022? Does that sound right? Is on my invoice from STS. Movement NUMBER 30598160. I attach a picture for you, quite pleased with how it turned out.
Really is a very poor looking 220 bezel. My suggestion, for the present, is throw it away somewhere. Hang around this forum for a few months. Gather up 200 posts so you can sell within the rules. By then your beat up 220 can be renamed a cosmic 220, a earthy 220 or an honest 220. Then resist it for big bucks.
Not having much luck locating owners with a 220 bezel, with serial numbers starting with 29111. As mentioned elsewhere I'm now confident this is the original bezel on my watch.
