·Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting here but I have been a fan of this forum and its content for a while. My name is Andy and, like many others here, I am a big fan of vintage Omegas. I purchased my first vintage Omega (ref. 2169) which at surface level looked in good condition, aside from having the wrong crown and no movement ring. Finding the movement ring has proven a more difficult challenge than expected. I have looked everywhere on eBay and have visited many vintage shops across Europe, but have yet to find it. Could anyone point me towards someone who could help me find this component?
I love the looks of the watch and although it's not a "pure vintage" watch I would still like to wear it. At this point, the watch has been idle for so long that I am fairly price-insensitive, as long as it is not a ridiculous sum. I attached a screenshot of an identical piece for reference (the ring has these "teeth" that grip down on the movement as the screwback is closed).
Thanks in advance,
Andy
