    Hey now,
My recently purchased CK730 only works when crown is facing down. Faced in other directions it either stops or the beat sounds really clunky. My Iphone indicates it's magnetized, could that be the issue? Still very happy about this purchase!

That is probably not the issue ..however, it cannot hurt to demagnetize it ...

Hmmm, maybe having the regulator floating out in the ocean could be part of the problem...

LOL! Yes that will certainly be adjusted. Thanks, hopefully it's the obvious.

Update: So far so good! Put it slightly towards slow from the middle.

Yeah, the regulator did not do the trick although it slightly improved.

Thanks, that appears likely. Hope there's a skilled guy out there somewhere for that replacement.

    I concur.
Broken upper pivot on the balance staff.
