Hi friends,

I have this beautiful Omega 198.002 that has just been serviced. Now I am thinking about getting a nice bracelet for it. According to my research it will need 647 end links and came with the 1175 bracelet. I found 647 end links on ebay for a reasonable price but I don´t want to spend a couple oh hundred euros on a vintage 1175 (even though I´m sure it´s worth it). So I thought about fitting a Uncle Seiko bracelet to the 647 end link because I have allready a couple of them...

So can anyone tell the exact measurements of the 647 end link hole (to fit the male part of the bracelet). Or even better: has anybody tried something like this and can give me support?

Thanks
Martin

Oh my I`m afraid to have to tell you those endlinks are in general very hard to come by even which watch brand and even more if its some vintage measurements like 19mm.
Just call them unicorns 😁

But sometimes you get lucky and find some and if I where you I would buy them in such a rare occasion no matter the price.

Maybe you can give it a try and drop Omega a message it seems latetley that they`re producing more and more vintage bracelet stuff.

To be honest I don't understand which hole you want measured, it would help if you measure it on another endlink for reference - in picture is the original endlink (002) that came with this watch, it's for a 1125 - but different regions had different options, I've never seen 647

Since you're not seeking purity, filing any 20mm endlink that Uncle Seiko sells seems like an easy option - you can pm me if you are interested in these endlinks, I might sell them with a 1125

@kaplan

Thank you for your help with my research. I was looking for 647 end links because of this:

I like the clean look of this end link and think it fits the C—Shape quite well…and I was asking exactly for your measurment because the mid links of the Uncle Seiko bracelet are 10mm so I would have the file the end links to fit the bracelet.

Hm…I have to think about that…
