The owner and first buyer mentioned, that he has bought a lady and a man version and the paper could be mixed up and one get lost. He promised, that the dial has never been touched and the minutemarkers never been there. It was bought in Italy

Looks like I was wide of the mark in my estimation then. If you had given us more info from the C24 listing, such as the actual case number instead of the papers for another watch altogether we have have had more to go on!

I too can't find a watch of that case number without the Officially Certified text and the gold versions do seem to have the Om Swiss Made OM text so you may be right in your initial suspicions about the dial. €5K is a lot to pay for a watch which is suspect IMO. Might be worth trawling through Desmond's web resource to see if anything like this is pictured on there.

Search desmonds site

he wrote an essay just on the cal 751 connies, and several essays wrt how the connie dials changed over time

this is a mens watch, which were smaller in the 60s

extract from one of those essays ( shown below without permission, but hopefully ok)

It has been redialed as others have said. Missing Officially Certified and a minute track. Also, the text bits are in the wrong places on the dial.

Not advice on the piece - but if it smells like lemons it’s probably a lemon espically if people in this forum say it’s off

That‘s true! I have trust the seller too much and the story (first owner, false papers...) was good
