·I think the biggest danger for damage for my Railmaster is wearing out the lug holes with so many strap and bracelet changes!...lol...but seriously, should I be worried? Would Omega be able to fix that?

·Yes, I'm afflicted with SSS....Strap Swap Syndrome. There is no cure, only treatment; which consists of purchasing additional watches to make use of the extra straps.

Well, the case is 38mm and it is my understanding the lug to lug height is about the same as a Speedy Pro with a 42mm case, ~48mm, so the straight lugs probably are a little longer and appear a little longer. However, I like the look and agree with DIV, they are perfect.

·Due to its minimalist design and grey dial, the RMLE looks the least desirable when placed side by side with any of my watches. For example, beside the Moonwatch with its jet black dial, chrono subdials and shiny pushers, the RMLE looks bland. Against the PO with its ceramic bezel and applied indices, the RMLE looks plain and boring. Even a watch like the SKX-009 with its bezel's striking red and blue colors trumps the RMLE. Putting the RMLE beside a blingy and text-oriented Daytona will make the RMLE look cheap and uninspired.
In appreciating the RMLE, you need to think in absolute terms. So before you flip that beauty (that doesn't look good relatively when placed side by side with either the SM300LE and the Speedy 60th), you might want to try it out for a week and appreciate its design on its own merits. When you finally understand what it's all about, it will be hard to go back to busy dials and bezels. You will find all those pizzas distracting.

As noted above by cfracing, same as speedy pro so defintly appear longer on this 38mm case. Had the Railmaster not been a reissue of a previous watch, making the lugs more in line proportion wise would have been super (especially for us with dinky wrists, haha). BUT, that said, kudos to Omega for staying faithful to the original spec. As such fan of vintage, wish others makers would follow suit more often.

Long time lurker, been reading those ~150 pages for the past year pretty much. Thanks all of you for the informative posts and beautiful pictures!
I've been waiting for my Speedy 60th since I ordered it a couple of weeks after BaselWorld 2017. Funnily enough, I ordered it through a dealer here in Switzerland. Wondering how many of you are still waiting for yours?
Apparently the Speedy Tuesday people are not much happier either, some of them still waiting for their pieces as well. What could have gone wrong at Omega for this situation to become so bad and disrespectful towards their customers?
