I guess it's a civilian version of a movement then used in military watches. Looks like a good case and dial, I like it. What is the movement Syrte ? calibre 283 ?
Shd be a 30T2SC. It could even be a true military watch which has lost its case markings. Some RAF watches of that era were indeed recased in Dennison cases. Still could be considered legit IF it is proven the movement was indeed delivered to the British govt. Worth getting an extract of archive IMHO- even if it costs about 120 CHF or whatever they are now. The movement serial number could give an important clue even before that. It’s been a long while since I’ve researched those, you should search threads on the Military Watch Ressource forum - also @Bill Sohne @gatorcpa or @LarryG might remember better than I do. I don't think so. Dennison were good casemakers and Omega did ship movements and dials to be cased in the UK so it makes sense. Looks like a 30T movement.
