Prices on ebay are pretty much actual market ones and sometimes above market with shill bidders. The only way to get a good deal is to chance on a low priced BIN listing, a poorly photographed and described listing or the rare occasion that the seller is persuaded to sell off ebay at a below market price. That's about it.

No, it was not from Israel. It was from France.
I bought an old omega strap from eBay.fr , BIN @ $55. This buckle was attached to the strap and was not mentioned by the seller in his description at all.

I think the middle buckle of the three shown above could possibly be real

The auction that dsio just posted is for the middle one of this bunch that I thought at the time was the only correct buckle. Price is high, given the gold content, but good luck in finding another one in decent condition.

Still it would be tough for me to fathom shelling out that kind of money for a buckle without at least having a jeweler test it for fineness.
