Hi all, (1st off -I know the thread should of read POCKET WATCH & not Stop watch, my mistake but can't seem to edit) From the information I've been told this Omega pocket watch was my Great grandfathers who was a repairer/restorer of watches/clocks & pocket watches (I have all his boxes/tins of spares from a lot of manufactures that I need to sort?) Watch info & pictures below: outer of outer case is of a knurled effect. Inner of outer case has "Illinois watch case co. Elgin USA Inner of inner case has "Gold filled, Guaranteed to wear for 10 years, 1170831" Outer rim behind the inner case also has the number 1170831 From a little bit of research I think it dates to around 1896 The information I am after in this particular watch is date & model along with what "gold filled" means? I would like a ball park figure of its current value (no glass & not working) and also another ball park figure once working & restored. Any information will be greatly received Regards Brett
