Hi all,

I got offered this beautiful constellation. I think it is a 168.010 but I find it hard to asses the value. I really like the watch but I don’t think i would wear it with the gold bracelet. I think I can get it for something between 2500-3000 euros. If I were to buy the watch and sell the bracelet (not for gold price but to someone who values it for the bracelet, not just the gold), is there a market for such a bracelet? And what would the value be? Or is it just worth the gold price.

thanks

It looks like it is an Omega bracelet (as opposed to an aftermarket bracelet with an Omega logo...) and probably only really suitable for this reference, so I would say that it has some value over melt value, but not a whole lot.

It really is one of those sets that should be kept together; the sum is more attractive/valuable than the parts.

I agree regarding the set, what I was trying to say is that I’d rather sell it to someone who would wear it with a similar Connie than keep it in the safe. Would you say that the price is ok?

Hi

I think 3000 Euros for a super clean 18k gold Pie Pan Connie head only is a fair deal. getting it with a gold band? bonus.

is the watch in the UK? band looks like it might be local production for Omega... not swiss made. no a big deal. plus how big of a wrist will it fit?

looks like to me.

good hunting
and be safe

Well I guess I was too slow or hesitant.. the seller informed me that the watch is reserved for somebody else. Thanks for the replies!

Sorry you missed it ....

There is always something else coming around the bend... it will be interesting and most likely different.

Good Hunting

Remember that is a 19mm lug size bracelet and it cannot fit on to the famous vintage Omegas like 167/8.005 etc....
Don't expect too much on it.

Guess I need to build some courage regarding potential purchases if I know the watch is good.
