    Hi All,

My first post in the forum, so I hope its in the right place. I have just built up an Omega 165.024, using a 0324 mid-case, and NOS parts, including an old HF 165.024 case back.

I love the watch, but prefer the look of the non-screw down crown. I do have one, along with a new tube, and stem, but is it possible to change the tube out from the 166.0324 service case?

I had the watch built up by Watch Guy, who has done a good job, but they would not change the tube over to allow the crown to be fitted.

Can anyone on here do that successfully? I have read many posts about the abilities and knowledge of Archer., who I have also messaged.

    Best Regards all

    Simon

What movement did you end up using out of curiosity? Also, post up some pics of it!

Its on a nice (IMO) Bulang & Son leather strap.
