Hi OF!
Today I bought this case for the Seamaster 166.0250. From the research I've done and the other examples I've looked at, I think everything is original. The glass is a sapphire crystal with no Omega mark. The difference I noticed is that the sign and the inscriptions on the inside are not in the center. I've read discussions here about which movement it was made with, and on mine I notice a 1010 designation on the outside. The bezel glows after I leave it in the sun.
How does everything look to you?
Thanks in advance!

It appears that this case has leaked and whatever movement was inside rusted pretty badly. Case tube threads might be stripped, so that needs to be checked and repaired if you want water resistance...

Thanks for the reply!
I looked with a strong magnifying glass and I see no violations on the thread. It could also have been flooded by an unscrewed crown...

I don’t think these have an omega mark on the sapphire crystal at least I’ve never noticed one on my 166.0250, I love the engraving on the caseback of yours
