Hi,
Ive had this watch for a month now and finally finished servicing the movement. Now I am onto the case. Case is 166.0210. So far I only needed to replace the crown. My dilemma is what band or strap would you suggest. It originally came with a flexi band which I've replaced. However I am tossing up between leather or the correct bracelet. Picture is before the service. Ive cleaned the case, crystal and dial. So it's almost ready.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Usually I would say "whatever you prefer." But given the condition of this watch (e.g. plating loss), I think I would be hesitant to invest in an original bracelet. To find a bracelet in decent condition (not stretched and with intact plating) might take a lot of effort and might cost more than the watch is worth.

Thank you, yes I only spent £5 on a flexi band but maybe get a green leather band for it. What buckle style was used in the 70s?

I would go for a leather strap, no worries with that classical solution.

I think green leather could be a fun look for it.
