·Omega 1511 Constellation Megaquartz Marine Chronometer 37m serial circa 1975/76.
Recently returned from Swiss Time Services in the U.K with a new crystal, new seals, new battery and fully cleaned, costing £190.00. That work is with warranty for 2 years from 28/09/2020.
The watch is in overall good original condition and is obviously in full working order. The original no 27 clasp and correct leather band are included with the important mounting ends. To the best of my knowledge this band is the only correct one for the 1511. Also present is the original chronometer certificate that was provided by the University of Besancon for this watch, all serials are correct and match. The certificate is presented in its original Omega booklet. These certificates and booklets are usually missing and a copy of the certificate is often provided, this is the original paper that was provided at sale. The original hang tag is also included. This is a big watch (34/46mm) and there are a few scuffs but no major dents or dings. The original chamfers are present and the case appears original to me. There are a few extra links pictured that are included.
