Omega 1481 Escape not aligning with wheels or pallet fork

First time trying to restore an Omega 1481 Movement

Found that the escape wheel was not turning (and in turn not working with the balance). Opened it up and looks like its not aligned with the two cogs/wheels (attached)

Any ideas what I need to do to align the escape wheel to the two cogs and then have it work with the pallet fork?

Thanks

It looks like the pinion of the escape wheel is sitting below the 4th wheel.

With the train bridge fitted, is the pivot of the escape visible, how much end shake is in the escape wheel?

It could be that the jewel in the plate is. too low and needs to be re-set.

I would suggest you remove the pallet fork, then put the wheel train bridge back on to verify that all the wheels engage and spin freely. If there’s a spot where the wheels cease turning, you know that is the spot you need to look at.

Check to make sure all pivots are intact, then check the jewel height. When it’s all working, put the pallet fork back in place and check to see if the escape wheel teeth are in the middle of the pallet stones.

Thanks. I've removed the pallet fork and the escape wheel. Which wheels should the escape wheel engage with?

Thank you both

The 4th wheel as per the arrow. The escape wheel is the 5th wheel.
