    Hello,

This 14777 has a rarer crosshairs dial that appears to be of yellowish color. I am not sure if its due to aging or has been a color option. All 14777 and 168.001 I have seen have a much more silverish dial.

What's your thoughts? Were there other dial colors than silver offered for the 14777 or is it just aging?

There is some moderate aging to the dial and seconds hand, but not too bad. Case is in pretty good shape, but the crystal needs to be replaced.

    Cheers
    Roger

One person's aging is another's patina.

    Right @kyle L? ;)

Thank you all  I've only seen one other crosshairs 14777 (in this forum actually), so they seem to be not that common. I haven't seen any of the later 168.001 with a crosshairs dial, but I have only seen a few dozen so far.

There seems to be a few shades or maybe it is age. This 14777 certainly has dial age/patina unfortunately blotchy which the stripe dial doesn't make up for imho.

That's a beautiful dial except the uneven patina. I have seen one other like this in the past with similar patina. So far, I've seen 5 different dials for the 14777 and 168.001 :

    - rectangular hour markers, sunray dial, silver or gold
    - rectangular hour markers, vertically brushed dial, silver or gold
    - rectangular hour markers with crosshairs, sunray dial, silver (only 14777?)
    - multi-angular hour markers, sunray dial, silver
    - striped dial silver (only 14777?)

The BOR bracelet with the 19mm end links is nice. I still haven't managed to find the 19mm end links (marked '17').

I had a 14777 for a while. Awesome watch but good luck finding a crystal. YMMV
