Well it's been a few years since my dad passed away from cancer and I had questions on his vintage speedmaster. I unfortunately had to sell because of my own cancer diagnosis and the associated medical bills. Every once in awhile I get the itch to buy a similar watch to replace it. Of course can't afford his 1967, but maybe have found this one. I get a little lost on the different references for this time period and whether or not this is correct.. Maybe this doesn't fall under vintage category.

If it's a 1994, it should be reference 3590.50 which is just a renumbering of the 145.022 reference. This is one of the last of the Speedmaster Professional models with a tritium dial and handset. I think that we would need better, clearer photos in natural light to properly assess it, but at first blush it looks like it has some significant wear to the case and bracelet and I see some fungus/discoloration forming on some of the hour markers. It also looks like there is some lume loss in the hands. In short, not the best example of this reference that I've seen. What's the asking price? Any service records?

$3,000 would definitely be at the lower end of the range for this reference, but as I noted previously, this doesn't look like a particularly good example to me. I would start by asking for more detailed photos and whether the watch has been recently serviced and, if so, whether there are service records.
