    Hey guys,
I got this fine watch from ebay. It was a spur of the moment purchase since I thought that the price was ok and you don't see too many of these guys floating around.
After looking through a lot of pictures of this watch, I'm not sure how much is legit.
Especially the hands brig up questions.
The caliber 321 looks prestine and works perfectly.
Is the case a service case?
The lume applied to the hands looks legit.
It looks a little bit too good to be from 1961.
I would really appreciate the opion of the experts. Thank you!

So in conclusion, the hands are from a different model, the case is correct but probably a service case or a NOS case, cause it looks so new, the crown is also of younger age and with the modern omega symbol.
Does anyone here know where I could maybe get the correct hands?
I know, they wont be cheap but the alpha hands just look so nice .
Thanks for the comments, so far!

Btw I love those clipped-number Seamaster Chrono dials. But definitely source some Alpha hands! A great classic look.

I would love to source some. But I can only find some for the Speedmaster 2998. And those are very expensive and way too long.

Looks great! Not much to add besides greetings from his slightly older brother!

Thanks! This photo was made one day after I had it cleaned and serviced. It looked like this before:

Awesome. It really was transformed. Did the clean up the dial or was it just the old glas that gave it such a rugged look?

I know he also cleaned the dial ultrasonically, but the main reason was the chrystal that was terribly scrathed and thus replaced.

Of course I cannot say that the case ISN'T a service case, but in any case it has been polished which is why it looks good. The edges are somewhat blunt and the reflections on the polished parts are distorted/blurry which is a sign of uneven (ie. not factory) polish.

Hmmm, i strongly dislike polishing on every watch but ok, then that at least would explain why it Looks so new. What do you guys think of the Hands on the watch from chrono24 that i posted? Could i source the Alpha Hands for my watch from that watch?
By the way, thank you for the comments on my watch ;)

The best thing about this watch really is the Patina on the dial and the perfectly working caliber 321. Runs with About 4 seconds minus per 24 hours. It looks so well maintained :)

Totally different dial as well as hands. Is it even the same watch at all?

@SkunkPrince the watch from Chrono24 is a different model of course. The question ist whether I could source the alpha hands from that watch to replace the hands of my seamaster 321?

You personally, probably not, but a watchmaker with Omega parts account probably could.
