hello everyone and thanks for letting me join your group . i have a 68 omega 120 seamaster , i love the watch but the buckle is really starting to annoy me ! does anyone know which would be the correct shape for my years ? the strap i have on is 16mm. any help would be brilliant as i would really like to get the correct one . or if anyone has one for sale . many thanks
thanks , i like it a lot apart from the buckle ! surely someone on here can tell me the correct buckle that i would need ? cheers
The fact that the buckle is not original its repro , I would like to know what buckle is correct for sixties Seamaster , cheers
Have you checked out the in-depth buckle post right above? 5th post from bottom in the "vintage" section, sticky threads.
Given that the 120 was supplied on a tropic strap (at least according to a 1967 catalogue), that will dictate the buckle type I'd have thought. Did they even have an Omega signed buckle?
i agree it did come with the tropic strap or i think a 1098 bracelet , to be honest i like a leather strap and just wanted to know what correct year genuine buckle would work with the leather strap , thanks for your input guys
yeah no problem mate , here are some shots and i hope you like , not sure if if its correct year but i think i now have an original buckle which i like i lot , out of interest who would you guys recomend to service this watch ? again many thanks for help
