I have recently been given this old gold ladies omega watch. Would anyone be able to give me a rough idea of its value. I believe it is roughly 60 to 70 years old, if it was new when it was given to the recipient. I have looked through the internet but am unable to find a similar one. The hall mark indicates the gold was produced in Birmingham. There are no markings on the back of the watch. Watch1.jpg Watch2.jpg Watch3.jpg Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately ladies watches are not very collectable. It is worth it's gold weight only, maybe $50 above that. Sorry

That's more accurate I think. Anyways the added value here is determined more be aesthetics and fashion in this case. For the age you might try the serial of the movement.

Please visit a watchmaker and ask him or her to open it up and note down the.
    - Movement serial number.
    - Reference number (number inside the case lid)
    - Movement caliber.
A picture would also be a good thing (movement and inside of caseback / lid).
Post it here, and we can give you an estimate +/-3 years or so.
    I am guessing 1960s.

I have one very similar to that one, a Ladymatic from the same era.

All gold like yours including the bracelet, but as mentioned not very collectable and not very valuable.

The case should pop open with a knife blade, look for either a gap around the 3 o'clock position or a tab between the lugs, carefully insert a knife blade and you should be able to open it up. Case is probably 9kt gold like mine.
