Old Omega tonneau question

Dear Sirs,

let me ask for your assistance in identification of this vintage omega watch. I didn’t manage to find enough information in the internet.

Any opinion and information concerning exact model, year or place of production, value, or any other considerations will be highly appreciated. I guess this watch was produced in 1920s (?) something like Omega Petrograd.

I found a few pictures of early omega tonneau and they shows different shapes and color of the hands, mostly black or dark blue, so I have a doubt whether these gold hands are original or not.

Any opinion ?

The hands seem to be incorrect as you noted, not quite "plume" style (hour) or "leaf" style (minute). Sub-seconds hand also seems to be badly proportioned.

I would expect the hands on this watch to be blued steel.

Omega engraving in the caseback looks to be hand done and the hallmarks are unfamiliar (although hard to see).

Possibly a locally produced case.

Is the movement number the same as the case number?

Dial looks good and original.
Hour and minute hands are wrong as Jim already stated, I am not so sure about the seconds hand.
It would match if you mount correct golden hour and minute hands as they might have been originally.
I suppose that the case was made in Russia during the late 20ies, not uncommon

Thank you for your answer, JimInOz!

As regards hallmarks I attach another picture where hellmarks are shown more recognizable, hope it helps.
I see 583 which stands for gold, but what means the other two ?

As for the movement number is concerned, I can’t say still as I haven’t opened the case yet. Should the numbers be the same or they can be different? What it will say to us?

Mac_omega, thank you for your reply !
Did some of such a tonneau have a golden hour and minute hands? Is that confirmed by omega booklets? In the internet I found just a couple of pictures that I posted above but none of them is exactly the same watch like mine. I am interested which hands originally were set on my watch. And is there any chance to find and buy such hands or should i look for a somebody who can replicate it?

Why did you assume it dated late 20s and Russian?
