Old Omega Oiler pots

I picked this up amongst some other items on ebay recently, more out of interest and thinking it was quite cool to be honest rather than any great need.

My question is, does anyone know what "SVL" or "GV" or "SAL" or "LM" or "SFL" mean? It won't make any difference to how I use the pots but I'm curious. By the way, the GV is missing it's oil pot but otherwise it all seems intact. I'll try and put a pot from another oilpot system in to that one.

Are they agate pots? If they are plastic I wouldn’t recommend using them, as the Oiler can scratch off particles that may end up in the movement.

Feel like glass but I'm never entirely sure if I'm dealing with glass or very hard clear plastic. I'm going to go with glass...

Not even sure I'm going to use it to be honest, just wondered what the oil codes signify. Now I've cleaned it up a bit I can see a ghost of the oil codes on several of the lids. Very faint and won't photograph worth a damn, but it's there.

Cool!

I can see the 9010/2 by the SVL ... and another 9 on the SAL. 8301 on SFL is clock mainspring grease.

Nice little find for sure.
