    Hello Everyone :)

I am from Lithuania and here is some story about me :)

For some unknown reason this year I became fascinated by all kind of watches.... very strange for me because watches were never really important to me. I had owned always a watch but never looked at it this way. And now it is all about watches in my life. So much that I have even found this old Omega in the attic and decided to take it apart so I could really understand how the watch movement works etc. I would also like to repair it and I think I will repair it, because usually once I am on the task I finish it :)

So here is the watch all taken apart :) (balance was not damaged by me it was like this in the watch)

Judging by the case serial number 3 948 216 it would seem that this watch has been produced between 1902 and 1907. However I am not sure about the caliber. I looked on Dr. Ranfft's bidfun archive. It seems it is Omega 40.6L T2 open face, however there are some discrepancies e.g. tOMEGA engraving on the caliber is of different font and reminds more current Omega font. Serial number engraved on the dial side is 3 296 310, while there is also 4 digit number bellow the cross saying 5760.
