Personal pet peeve I encounter in e-mails correspondences on an almost daily basis : my given name is Michel but most English-speaking people reply Michael. This happens even after several e-mail exchanges, or having met the person face-to-face.

Michel 馃槈

My wife's name is Windy, but often gets called Wendy. She just accepts it and moves on.

I'm a dickhead and an asshole but sometimes get called a douchebag. Comes with the territory I guess. Too much trouble to educate people on the differences.

Sir , i'm sure she would have mentioned Windy means "Mahangin" in Tagalog.

Let's say some0ne in the OF was being boastful , you can casually say out loud
" Oh My ! Its very Windy "

( Just like " Hey ! It's another Speedmaster thread ! Imagine that [emoji14] )
Filipinos dislike people who love to boast[emoji4]

p/s @ulackfocus
Tell Windy "Mahal Kita Miss Kita Talaga " [emoji6]

I consider myself a decent grammarian (I've got the standardized test scores to prove it -lolzz)

That ^^^ written, I'm still not always certain of the proper use for:

1.) that vs. who vs. which

I sometimes struggle with independent clauses and I'm not ashamed to admit...that

All I know is that a preposition is a bad thing to end a sentence with.

A joke for us Americans:
What is something you can tell about about a person who speaks English with a foreign accent?
They know at least one more language than you.

I think using "of" instead of "have" irritates me the most. Although, seeing "definitely" spelled "definately" is annoying, too.

I would like to get opinions on this hypothesis:
Out of all languages, you can butcher English the most, yet still be understood. (Unless you're an Italian in Malta)

I'm always amazed by the number of people that don't know the difference between leather watch straps and shoes.
