It's always the Comcast router!!! The ones they supply are terrible and if you get 6 months outa one then you might as well play the lottery. Don't get me wrong, some people don't use the internet for more than browsing and email so the ComCrap router is fine.
I believe I reccomended the nighthawk 1900 earlier in this thread but I could be wrong. I usually do reccomend that however because if you wanna cut the cord you might as well give back all the rental equipment as well.
I’ll be doing it at the end of this month. I decided to go with YouTubeTV. Yes they just raised prices but the channel selection and DVR built in make it the most cost effective one for me.
Many companys (such as Spectrum) "rent" you fairly lousy devices. Long term, it is cheaper to buy your own devices (Do a bit of Googling to make sure that they are compatible). They are fairly easy to configure and IMHO are superior to the provided hardware.
After about 6 months, you're ahead when you buy the hardware yourself.
At&t includes HBO for free if you're an at&t cell customer. Not to rub it in Haha.
I thought hbo go was just an app for hbo customers to use their service on the go (no pun intended) In other words if you payed extra to your cable company to have hbo then you could access it via a tablet if you were on a plane for example. Maybe this is something different outside of my cable region cause I'm not following.

Until recently all you had to do to use Go was buy it or prove you were a cable subscriber. I accessed via Firestick. Now you have the pleasure of paying the cable co and paying for Max since Go is being discontinued. The most gutless thing is that the message you get blames the cable provider which is BS.

Go is not being discontinued, you just need to use the MAX app to access it... Yeah, they are really shitting the bed on the messaging of this. The GO app is being discontinued and you use the MAX app to access GO while MAX is an add on...
