A friend of a friend made emailed me an offer yesterday for his Seamaster Chronograph which he says he no longer likes. I just wanted to check with you experts to make sure this is real and not a counterfeit, as the $600 price tag seems too good to be true. Here are the pics. Thanks for your help Omgea experts:
Definitely fake. The sub dials are wrong and the lume dot on the bezel doesn't look right even with the glare. Too good to be true is right. I've always liked the look of the real ones!
It is a fake. The most obvious are sub dials. However many other clues: the crown guard, the 12 & 6 lume, the seamaster case back logo, etc Compare it with these: http://www.chrono24.com/en/omega/se...l--id2322586.htm?id=2322586&picnum=0&tab=pics http://www.chrono24.com/en/omega/se...d2199090.htm?id=2199090&picnum=12&tab=details
