OEM Strap for vintage Constellation

Hi everyone, I wanted to get some opinions on Omega leather straps. I want to get a black alligator strap for my vintage Constellation and am leaning towards a modern Omega strap in black alligator. The local boutique has them in stock and I just wanted to see if anyone has experience with Omega alligator straps and if you think they are worth the price. I’ve worn out a few straps on this particular watch and the original bracelet is too beat up to use. I’m leaning towards OEM this time since this watch has sentimental value but I thought I would still get some opinions. Thanks.

Omega has nice straps - they are obviously not made by Omega. They are made by Manufacture Interstrap S.A., and others likely.

I like the idea of buying an Omega buckle and using it with a strap of my own choosing.

I may just end up doing that then. I have a spare modern vintage style buckle that I plan on using. I realize Omega doesn’t make the straps themselves but they are the most readily available since I have a local boutique nearby. I do have calf and nato straps from Omega and those are good and the prices aren’t too steep. The alligator straps are the ones where the prices jump up a bit more. I believe I took a look at Kaufmann and Camille Fournet and the prices weren’t that much different but I’ll look into it a bit more since that might be the way to go.
