Do we reckon an announcement at 12am BST?
Why would you think that?

It's not going to occur until early Monday morning in Switzerland, most likely 6 to 8 am, when their workday starts. Remember, they have an audience to think of, and they want their PR folks at their desks. If they release it early Monday that is good for Europe, late in the evening in the US, and mid-day in Far East. That's the optimum time for them. Five or six hours to go, minimum.

No worries. I always felt this thread was meant to be fun but people took it way too seriously. I know tone doesn’t come across well in a forum or the web and I write more formally than I speak. I was just bothered by all the vitriol about who was more right and why people would spend their money on things they haven’t seen. Perhaps I should stop commenting here. I thought I was helping people who were interested in the watch by sharing my experiences.

No harm no foul. It's always good to hear other perspectives, and a data point is a data point. If it seemed like I was getting frustrated, it was more at the OBs giving out conflicting information, not at you or anyone else on these forums who've shared their personal experiences with them. Like I mentioned before, I really do hope that I am wrong and others are right.

At the end of the day I think we're all hoping for similar things. Not long now before the official release, and it can't come soon enough!

I bet they sent a whole batch of 'em up to the ISS and have put some trimmings from Scott Kelly's underwear in a little window on the back. Price: $165,000

Would you mind directing towards which thread mate? Are you happening to be referring to the one that someone did in photoshop that is all blue?

We've had 69 pages of conjecture and you pop up claiming to have seen it...and dont post a picture.

haha I will say - regardless of everyone's individual viewpoints - 2020 has been a disaster of a year and just all around terrible. This thread has been a fun distraction as well as the anticipation for this watch! It's given us something to look forward to and celebrate. Wishing everyone the best of luck and can't wait to virtual cheers with everyone! 😀

I only go on what happened with Apollo 11 last year. The embargo was lifted at 11pm Central Time in the US, that was 6 am in Switzerland, the Omega US website showed it at 11pm and every watch site/blog also had it displayed. Perhaps it will be different this time and they'll release it later in the day. But I suspect we will know about it in about 4 hours. The key PR people could easily come in early for special releases like this.

Here's the link, just not active yet:
