For those of you with deposits or on lists, what on announcement day would be considered a deal breaker?

Great question to get some fun discussion.

Given this is my first opportunity to get a Snoopy the design would have to be undesirable. If the rumors of blue and white color scheme are on point, I’d be very pleased. Not a flashy person so even though it’s a 50th, I’m hoping no shades of gold other than white gold. Doesn’t seem right to have a gold silver Snoopy.

Only dud I can think of was the A17 40th anniversary. You can still buy those off of OB and the website. Everything else was sold out eventually.

Wonder if they will do a full white gold option as well as steel.

50th anniversaries are synonymous with gold so I suspect it will include that and I hope it’s a white dial of sorts.

Price. If it’s over $15k, I’m probably out. Otherwise, it’s hard to say. I will know it when I see it.

😲😲😲😲

Too right, no way would I pay that!!

It could drop like a lead weight in value over time if Omega look to meet all the demand too.

Therefore the price and supply needs to right too.

If I am reading this correctly, the price needs to be reasonable and the number of pieces low to ensure maximum value retention and possible increase in value, similar to the last Snoopy?

Me, I think the price should be around that of the A11 50th and the numbers should be at least the same level, if not maybe a touch higher. The more people who can celebrate the achievement the better IMHO.

@midimanwatch @phooi Since $15k is 321 territory that wouldn't happen IMHO.

It'll be right at $10k, and Omega will never confirm how many were made.

Is this Snoopy will be available globally or it will hit specific countries?

Globally, I know of no reason why it shouldn't.

The price and aesthetics of the watch are probably the only deal breakers for me.

Yes, and if it tracks anything like the Apollo 11 50th, deliveries were random all over the world...

that case shape predates the first Snoopy award (and possibly Snoopy), while Im a fan of the FOIS - I think that may preclude them using it.

I suppose but it looks good though.

Nice and simple looking.

I don't want to see something OTT and bling.

Same here!!! Happy birthday for the 5th. We are going away for a few nights at the weekend but I’ll be keeping an eye out on Omega’s Instagram account on the 5th.

And this is where opinions will differ the most, design. One person's bling is another person's hell as they prefer a plain Jane style, and vice versa.

The watch will have to have some gold, it's a 50th after all, and of course Snoopy is silver so that has to be shown, so the watch is going to sparkle, whether that constitutes bling or OTT is down to the individual.

I assume this is the watch?....

Err, No.

This is a well documented artistic impression of what somebody hopes it will look like. Sorry.
