They said did they but dont wanna say how many, but i’m #6 on that AD when i deposited
Bad that they won’t say how many given that they have £4-5000 of your money. Why the need to be secretive? Just makes you wonder whether they are bumping people up and down the list.

I wanna give them the benefit of the doubt regarding that but yeah it would be scummy if they discontinue this snoopy while having OB/AD holding deposit for years now

anyways I should drop an email to my AD tomorrow

I know of the main Omega AD near me in Toronto has taken roughly 100 deposits and have only gotten 2 watches so far. And they still and committeed to preaching to everyone with a deposit that all orders will be filled. I called BS on this after 2 of the watch release when I heard it's mainly a OB release watch.

In my opinion there is just no way everyone who is on the waitlist will get one, no way… The demand is just way too high compared to the supply, and people keep on going to OBs/ADs every week asking for a Snoopy. They will discontinue it at some point, and it looks like it might be “soon”, be it next month, next year or in 2025. Damn it even 2025 is too soon to fulfill the waitlists. What I find incredible is that ADs took the deposit of a lot of people without even knowing how many pieces they will get or when it’s going to be discontinued… That is just disrespectful to play with peoples money like that, and I’m quite sure they don’t like that too much in Biel. Even Rolex who treats customers like sh*te doesn’t take deposits. I just think it’s imposible everyone will get one. Every month that passes there are more people getting on the “wishlist” than watches delivered probably in a year… That’s just my opinion of course, but I don’t think I’m far off…

AD doesn’t take deposits without their Omega Ambassador afaik that ambassador are the ones that said they cannot take deposits anymore as per Omega

I assume majority of deposits that ADs/OBs took are with Omega’s blessing

waitlist are fine as long as there’s no money involve but taking deposits interest free then returning in 3~4years after without delivering is a major fυck up more so by Omega than the retailers if this happen

I don't think Omega has any visibility into which ADs took deposits.

OBs yes, but OBs also quickly stopped once their lists got too big and the one near me has already worked through their list of people with deposits.

Well at least on my AD (according to them) they report it to omega and omega asked them to stop taking more orders years ago

Interesting. What country or region is your AD in?

according to my information, ADs in Europe do not have access to this model. Elsewhere I don't know but in Europe, I don't believe it.

thank you for the information, the AD in my region told me the opposite. I bought mine from an OB where I purchased several watches.

I believe there are few countries with no OBs hence why some might get sold by ADs. I think it varies per country. I was also told that it was a OB only watch last year but that might have changed.

I think if ADs do get Snoopy's it's 1 or 2 pieces a year at most.

I think this is the key, whether or not a country has significant OB presence or any at all.

The Snoopy was never announced as a boutique only piece, ADs in the US were taking deposits and making waitlists too in the beginning, but as time went on I think US ADs basically gave up hope.

of course you can buy in Europe a snoopy in a multi-brand seller, i received mine in february and i was the second or third in this store.

In Omega Boutique in Paris they receive near 30 snoopy per year....

Thanks. So that's clearly contradictory to rolexforum info.
