the watch wasn’t announced until late 2020. This thread with rumors wasn’t even begun until April, 2020. How did you leave a deposit in 2019?
Update for you data collectors:

Full deposit made in December of 2019 at a US OB. I have been mainly a vintage collector, hence no purchase history at OB.

During my wait, About a year ago, I purchased an Apollo 8. I was hesitant during previous offerings of that watch because of my wrist size, but I love it.

Finally got the call for the Snoopy and received my watch a couple of days ago. 2 years and 7 months after deposit. Yay!

My wrist size is 6.5”, so I purchased the deployant short band from an Aquaterra which fits perfectly. The back side of the strap is different than the Snoopy strap, but the top is the same. The other option was a short Snoopy strap for the tang, but I prefer deployants.

The strap on the left is the Aquaterra strap. It has less of a taper (I think to 18mm) vs the Snoopy goes down to 16mm at the tang. The middle strap is the short tang Snoopy strap, and the original on the watch. Adding the 16mm deployant to the Snoopy short strap places the deployant in a very uncomfortable position at the side of the wrist, so that was a no go.

It’s was a great National Championships. I’ve been following Olivia’s career since 2018. She is fantastic and will be a factor in the hunt for an Olympic spot this quad for sure. Wonderful and positive personality as well.

That's cool you're a judge at the Championships. Pretty impressive performance by Olivia Reeves at only 19 years old.

I picked up the sport last year and really enjoy it even though I'm not that good due to lack of mobility.

My understanding is that US OB were allowed to take deposits. My OB salesperson texted me in December 2019 that they are taking deposits for the 50th anniversary Apollo 13 watch. He already had 3 deposits before mine. At that time, there were no details, but he thought it would be a Snoopy and a price estimate of $10k. I said, sign me up!

Wow that’s news to me. Mostly I’m shocked it took almost 6 months after that for there to be a thread here about rumors

There was a time you could set your watch by it when Omega would be releasing LE's.

By any chance this happened in California?
Because my sources told me that the Cali folks opened list way in advance and they created a massive headache to Omega USA…

I know Houston OB didn't open the list for deposits until a few weeks before the official announcement in October.

Same with all other OBs, besides west coast.
Omega HQ had force OBs and some clients to do a “fake return and re-deposit procedure” in order to be compliant with the US official list.

I guess our OB on the west coast must have had lists already started before HQ got a protocol set. My deposit receipt only said “deposit for Apollo 13”. They offered me a refund while staying on the list since it was taking a long time, but I refused since I didn’t want to jeopardize my position.

Anyway, as a true collector, I was initially upset when they reordered the list based on purchase history, but I finally got it, so I’m a happy camper.

Recently got my first call since deposit and it began with "....this is not about your Snoopy". Just to see if I was interested in anything else. Recent purchases apparently are like offering to the Omega gods; and will allow them the opportunity to inquire with HQ on speeding up allocation.

Just received my Snoopy from OB yesterday.
I have no purchase history at OB, while I still have my Snoopy delivered after 1yr 9 month as a nice gift to my wife.

Just back from the OB with my freshly fitted 3861 bracelet. Absolutely made up with the new look! No Scratches!

I loved the colour match and overall look of the stock strap but it never felt all that comfortable.

Fully brushed version selected as I prefer the subtlety.

Hello guys,

I'm new here and I have read last pages of the topic about everyone's snoopy adventure. Seems that they are still delivering order for people on waiting list since 5th October 2020. All your pictures are beautiful !

About my case I'm from a mediterranean country and I have been put on a OB waiting list in July 2021. They told me that the waiting time is about 5-6 years. I went back at the same OB two weeks ago and they told me that they don't know anything about how it is going except that the list is centralized in the GHG and they follow it to deliver Snoopys. Of course there are probably some special customers who will have it even if they are far in the list. Last information : From 2023 ADs will be available, at least in my country, to order Snoopys for their customers, hope they will increase the production in Switzerland.

Well I think 5-6 years of waiting time is worth the effort, just hope they will not stop the production. Fingers crossed

I hope you’ll get your Snoopy eventually, my friend. Keep
Checking with and being “visible” to the OB where you are registered. Good luck!

Looked at both 3861 bracelet options at the boutique and went with the polished bracelet route and has a nice pop to it. Worth the wait and stay the course if you are on the list.. will be worth it.

Does anyone know the length of the standard strap? I'm having a custom strap made for mine and I just wanted to confirm the sizing. Thanks!

Why do you want to use the standard length, having a custom strap made means you could get a better fit with your own measuements.

I've shown him how the watch sits on my wrist and he just wants to know what the size is as he has an approximation (and from other watches), of how much he has to make it bigger. So, I think if I determine the OEM strap is a certain length, he'll increase it by a few mms.

I have had mine for a week now and, what can I say: absolutely smitten. It is my first Omega and I am so happy to eventually join the club and understand what the fuss is all about. Some photos below (hopefully).

I can’t capture the proper shade of Blue in my phone camera, nor the shimmer of the Silver dial but suffice to say the watch is much better in the metal than photos show. That dial is one of the less discussed aspects of the watch but when you spend time close up it is one of the truly outstanding features. It puts me in mind of the ALS Silver dials.

Why Omega wouldn’t offer this dial option on the regular Speedmaster Pro is beyond me. With a choice of Black, Blue, Green or Red bezel/subdials it would surely be a massive hit?

Watch has behaved impeccably. 7 days in and 6 seconds fast. 3861 bracelet in order then it’ll be pretty much perfect.

Love the watch! Just wish it came with bracelet originally 😀
