Yea, but to be fair to them, I expressed my interest in the snoopy fairly late (months after announcement) and the sedna speedy purchase was summer 2021. So their list must have been huge by then.

My sales associate at the OB is great and I don't fault him at all. It seems like there's just genuinely no way for OBs to know how many they get allocated per month or per year.

There are a lot of people in USA that paid full deposit when the Snoopy was released in October 2020 that are still waiting for their watch. I hope we all receive a watch before those that have expressed an interest. I hope we both receive a watch before the 100th anniversary Snoopy comes out.😉

I'm guessing Omega will be fulfilling those orders first, with some rare exceptions (like million-dollar clients or celebrities). They're in too deep to suddenly switch to prioritizing customers with history over customers with deposits down.

Nah -- all those VIPs are stocking up on the Tiffanys.

I have a quick meet with my AD after he's back from his Omega briefings, whatever those are, so should have some news next week -- whether it's useful or not is, of course, a separate issue,

Tiffany Snoopy 55th will set the market on fire 😀

It seems that Omega has been sending communication about 2022 deliveries… so maybe you will get some news soon!

What is the Tiffany Snoopy 55th?
Unless you are an ultra high roller Omega customer (>$250k/yr) don't even bother asking. It's Omega's version of the black American Express Centurion card, you are offered the 55th Snoopy, you can't just buy it. You provide Omega unfettered access to your bank account and they decide how much to withdraw in order for you to get the Snoopy sometime in the future. And if you query them as to the status of delivery it is automatically cancelled and you don't get your money back.

Great, at least I know I won’t ask for it.

A lot of Chinese restaurants in Houston won't accept Amex cards.

AmEx charges a higher rate to merchants than any other card, like a full point more than Visa, so many places don’t take it.

I can't remember the last time a restaurant refused my AMEX card, I use it because they give 4X points at restaurants. And I've been a continous cardholder since 1980. There were lots of gripes in the past about the higher AMEX fees but everything is done by plastic now so most merchants accept all cards these days. A sale is a sale.

Yes, I am in Malaysia. My understanding that OBs across the regions can arrange the delivery in different ways. Here in Malaysia, they have been great and have constant engagement with their customers.
