Another unexpected arrival here. Early impressions are very positive and it’s definitely better in the metal.
God that looks gorgeous.

I was told it was going to be about 5000 units the first few years and then production is going to be throttled down after that.

Does someone know the aproximate number of production?
Omega management knows but they don't make it public, that's their new business model, keep 'em guessing.

I'm pretty confident that this December bunch of new Snoopys shown here won't end up in Chrono24 or in a Chinese safe, associated to a watch investment fund.

Well, it’s a stunner. So much better in the metal. When outside the watch changes character - the blue goes a shade of vivid blue and the silver dial has a load of warmth.

the only downside is the strap, which is very stiff. Maybe it will loosen up in time, but will pick up a bracelet in the next few weeks I think. I do think the strap suits it very well however.

am delighted with it. A couple of obligatory shots from its first shopping trip.

I have a modded Speedmaster that has the blue Snoopy strap on it and it is indeed a stiff strap but I'm using a Fluco deployant buckle ($30) and that solves that problem. Imo, a tang buckle isn't the right choice for the Snoopy but was done for cost purposes. But after six months I've concluded that I don't like that shade of blue and I don't like the look or feel of Cordura nylon for a watch strap, so I've ordered a new strap in a different shade of blue in Epi leather from Genteel. You can always change the look of a watch with a strap change.

Yes, I think a nice thin and soft blue calf skin would do lovely. I’m going to take your tip and order a cheap deployant over the weekend, however.

in the meantime I’ll stick it on my old speedy Tuesday leather strap. Wrong colour but at least comfortable.

Watch looks good - patiently waiting for mine. How did you all get the snoopy plush? Did they give them when you picked up your watch? I like it a lot haha

Is that a mod with a Snoopy dial + red chronohand or a mod of a Snoopy 1 with a red hand?

Congratulations! I saw one in the boutique and darn, it looks a ton better in the metal. That’s great that you got one this year! …and happy new year!

And a happy new year to you sir. Yes, it definitely looks better in person (to me anyway). It has so many changing faces depending on the light.

beautiful! Congratulations!
I’m waiting a couple of days before I reach out to the boutique, they assured me an update coming early January.
Apparently Omega should give confirmation for the expected 2022 allocations soon.

Thanks, and I hope they come through for you.

I spoke with my guys here in the U.K. and they were shocked to have received another in 2021. They do think they’ll get more in 2022 as the world (hopefully) moves out of backlogs caused by covid. Hopefully that’s right and those like yourself can get it sooner rather than later.

I’m in the same boat. I spoke to my OB manager a few weeks back, and she was confident I would see my watch in Q1 of 2022. However, I’m supposed to get more info this week or next when she hears from HQ.

I’m still excited about the watch, but heading toward a 1.5 years of Omega holding my money and not even giving me a good timeframe on delivery is a little frustrating. Hopefully the wait will be worth it.
