Is it even possible to get one these days, for someone who has purchased other pieces at the boutique
I bought three pieces at the boutique where I got my Snoopy and still had to wait a few months. I'd also reserved it months before that. It's not easy to buy these but it's possible.

So how many months total? Sounds like you reserved it/deposit some time in 2021 rather than 2020 at launch. Congrats btw. At least these are now going to people without massive Omega collections. Having 3 is decent #, but not something like buying 3 per year at an OB for years on end. Are you in the US?

I'm not in the USA, I'm in Asia. I never put down a deposit but I had reserved the watch back in 2020 when it first dropped, so in total it was like 8 months. During that time I bought three other watches (that I had wanted anyway, not just to get the Snoopy) and two months after buying the last one I was able to finally get the Snoopy.

Do you have any purchase history before these 3 pieces? If the ans is no, it's really quick! Do you mind sharing the country as well? Congrats anway

Bought in Japan.

No, I had not bought any other watches from that boutique but I did buy two from another shop. Not sure if they cared about that.

That's very quick to be honest. A lot of us are still hunting for one with some more purchasing records. You are so lucky to have one already and wear it in good health.

So my wife bought me the SS for our 30th anniversary, which is on the 29th of this month. Gave full deposit right when they accepted them, emailed the big omega to see if there was any status, this was the response:

Thank you for being an OMEGA customer.

Congratulations on the purchase of the Silver Snoopy Award OMEGA Timepiece.

We do not have an estimated delivery date for your watch. You will receive a notification prior to the delivery of your timepiece.

If you have any further questions, feel free to call us by phone at 1-800-766-6342 Monday-Friday from 9am-7pm EST.

Sincerely,

Solon

The wait continues for many including me. Last time I checked was July. At this point someday someone will call me.

I just got an email from my AD letting me know that the ETA had now been pushed back to “early-mid 2022,” and that they had yet to receive any of their guaranteed 10-piece allocation (they closed the waiting list at 60, and there is now a waiting list for the waiting list), despite being the 2nd-largest vendor in Canada. So there it is.

On the plus side, I got an offer of a modest but appreciated mercy-discount on any Omega purchased in the interim, and a free NATO and strap-change tool. I think the delays are not helpful for business at this point, but so it goes.

It is what it is but some communication would be nice.

In my case I regularly visited the boutique where I had made the reservation and I bought other watches during the wait period. They were very transparent about when it would arrive so it helped reduce the tension.

Another one on the secondary market! 😡

https://tropicalwatch.com/watches/4gmn

Serial # 83397132 (could make the last three digits from one of the pics)

OMEGA, if you are watching… 😗
Curious: why would Omega care?

Watch was sold, they made their money and now it's listed at an inflated price on the secondary market keeping the hype going. Prices wouldn't still be that high if there weren't buyers to gobble them up slowly.

I'm pretty disappointed in Omega and hate to see this "limited production" model take years to get out to the mass market, but you could argue from their side it's "good for business"... I am on the waitlist at my AD at position 40+. The first 3 on the list have put deposits down well over a year ago & Omega has not given any ETA or update to them. The ADs are not happy about this either.

In the meantime, got myself a 2020 Tokyo Rising Sun - maybe I will aquire Snoopy when prices come down to earth in a few years (hopefully..) since my hopes of getting from AD are gone.
