It's sad to see that many people are not wearing, but flipping or keeping them in a safe box.
We are very few wearing it unworried, as I don't see pictures on forums. Hope it will change soon.

I am waiting for a communication from and OB in Dubai. Last update was EDD in March/April 2021, initially told maybe November 2020, then January '21. We shall see what happens anyway! But I'll defo be wearing it in the wild. Not quite "unworried" but I won't be hiding it in a safe all the time, much less flipping it. It'll be my third Omega and first Speedy (Aqua Terra and a DeVille Chronograph) Fingers crossed I get the call/email soon!

My UK AD told me mid summer. The email I was forwarded said “as a non SIS you will unfortunately be toward the end of the first deliveries” assume that’s internal lingo for Non boutique?

Yeah, I can get it to shine when I put it under a light but when making a natural transition from light to dark space it doesn’t illuminate. My OP41 in comparison shines like a lighthouse. The performance is almost like my moonshine lol... I.e non existent
Honestly that is quite bad lume.

Congratulations. I hope you not only enjoy owning your Snoopy but wearing it out and about too!

Thank you 😀. I allways buy watches to wear them, all of them gets some wrist time. They are made for that ;-). Yesterday my watchmaker fitted the 50th bracelet on the Snoopy. Some minor modification on the end links has the be done. But now I'm really happy🥰

Thanks for the pictures. Do you know what modifications are necessary?

I was wondering the same thing, can you tell us more about what these modifications entailed?

Must admit the A11 bracelet looks good on your Snoopy and is the route I've been considering since placing my order.

I'm also interested in what modifications were required to the end links as my AD stated the bracelet would fit when they checked for me.

My US OB doesn't have a delivery date estimate for me. Only says that those with deposits are guaranteed to get one and HQ is in control of distribution.

The 50th bracelet wont fit correct out of the box. I was thinking the same but it's impossible to mount wihtout modification.
So my watchmaker has grinded down the market surface by arround 0.3mm. The pic shows the modified end link.

Thanks. I think I'll try with 3861 instead. And Forstner/ Uncle Seiko flat link.

I got the call from my OB on Friday that Snoopy had arrived. Will definitely be wearing it in rotation. I wish the strap was a little longer but it does give my wife the opportunity to wear it as well. Not sure I’m sold on a steel bracelet yet but will keep an open mind. What a great addition to Snoopy 45! Curious if anyone else has heard that Omega will not allocate any more 50th Anniversaries to the Authorized Dealer network? I heard that when I picked mine up. I hope it’s not true! I’m a good customer in my local OB and was 4th on their list but that would be sad if people who want the watch and aren’t close to a boutique can’t get it even if it takes a long time. My buddy is on the list but has only purchased 2 watches. He’s been told that it could take quite a while but he’s willing to wait.

Congrats! My OB told me the watch is Boutique-exclusive so I don't know if that means ADs are shut out entirely...

If your friend has "only" 2 purchases through an OB and has a long wait then that means I'm screwed and will be waiting even longer...

There are no OB's in NL so I don't hope they would skip a whole country, goes for a lot more countries where no OB's are located.

I’m sure that’s true. Probably just referencing the US...I guess I’m lucky that I live near a OB!

I've never visited an OB, and got one. Only telephone + email.

Europe is slightly different from US in terms of deposits and allocation.
Anyway it was possible to place a deposit by email + phone even in US, and get on the list.
So having the OB far, is not a really limiting factor.
Also, they ship the watches, so once the OB receive the piece they will send it to the customer.

So, which OB? Is it in the U.S. or somewhere overseas? Just curious....
