This doesn't get enough wrist time -- scared of banging up the bakelite...

Was idly browsing forum and saw this topic. Have had this sat in drawer for a while so might as well show it the light of day

I privately inquired to the seller of the Bulova what it went for in the end. He told me he would not say, out of respect for the buyer. When I then asked him if he could at least tell me if it went for more than twice the ending bid (about $11,000) or less than twice, he told me it went for more than twice. SO that means more than $22,000, folks.

I think this one qualifies as Obscure, it just arrived. I'm pretty trilled with it, the roulette bezel and patina are spectacular.

Great watch! The dial is nice and the minute hand is so fancy.

Thanks!

A rare brand here in the US. Very nice
In Europe is not so rare. What is rare is the diver style.

"Genta inspired" Bulova Oceanographer 666ft Quartz. A very early quartz with an insane time sync feature (check out Bulova cal 242 on the web if interested):

Will get some TLC one day..... But no diving!
