I'm going to be in NYC April 5 -11 and wondering if anyone wants to do a get together?

Any leads on a cheap place to stay? I'm looking for a place less expensive than my Invicta.

 

Is it legal to use "Cheap" and "NYC" in the same sentence?

 

Maybe somewhere in the South Bronx for that price....

Stay in NJ, it's a short Uber away, and it will fit your budget.

Beware of NYC bargains! The inexpensive room will end-up costing you more, either in therapy after witnessing heinous crimes or in medical expenses to rid yourself of some level of insect infestation.......or both!

 

The least expensive place I can find is $85 a night in Chinatown.

I am meeting my 19 yo son for spring break so need accommodations for two. Last time we went to Philly/DC (he was 16 yo) I did AirBnB. In DC we slept on a sofa. The host (25 yo female) and her girlfriends thought it would be no disturbance to watch a movie all night in the living room as we tried to sleep. The wireless headphones they usually used were not working! In any case, the wife has forbid using AirBnB this trip.

As far as the GTG, April 5th, 10th or 11th would be good dates.

Check out the "Yotel" on 10th Ave and 42nd Street.
I had some family come in to visit one time and I think they got a pretty good deal.
And it is in a decent location.

 

Or try the Pod Hotel, my buddy said it was fine and basic

 

The Bentley Hotel on 62nd and York is the most affordable decent hotel I’ve discovered. It’s a bit of a walk to anything but that’s how it goes in Manhattan.

 

I was able to book the Radisson, about a block or two from Madison Square Garden. Thanks for all the tips.

I have no idea where would be a good place to meet up. As far as dates, how about April 6 (Friday night).
