NTTD or 2 Watches?

Go try them on, the NTTD is stunning in the flesh and the lightweight aspect + the dark hues of the titanium/brown are what won me over, it's a "whole is greater than the sum of all parts" sort of thing (coming from someone that previously despised fauxtina, titanium and mesh straps haha)
I actually handled both models at a boutique and a local AD. In both cases the lighting was such that I could not make a proper determination (harsh mini spot lamps). Hope to get to an AD a couple of hours away where I purchased Pelagos FXD GMT recently. Problem there will be the Speedies will also look better and I might get diverted! Some knock the fauxtina on the FXD and the NTTD goes much further with it. Not a negative in my view. I dabble with titanium and similar lumes under the Panerai label.

I would just spend more, myself. Grab another Seamaster. You might be able to flip it without losing much.
I've heard that the resale value currently of the NTTD Seamaster is quite low at the moment, as the market is currently flooded with them. Not sure if that is true or not.

Personally speaking, having tried it on myself in the OB, I’d take the 60th anniversary model - would have been my first choice between these options.

That is a beautiful watch, I did consider getting. I am just wondering if you can fit the standard Seamaster bracelet on it. As I am not a fan of the steel Milanese bracelet.

When I'm at an AD or boutique I walk around the store, looking for areas of lesser light like corners. Legibility is big with me (being in my 50's the near eyesight isn't what it used to be). The sales associate knows I'm not going to try to dash off with the watch as I leave the watch I wore into the store with them (and it's usually an Omega or Rolex).

I can’t say for certain, but I really like the mesh bracelet - and I picked up the OEM mesh in steel for my white SMP300… so if the dimensions of the 60th are the same as the standard SMP, they should in theory be interchangeable.

Maybe someone has answered this already in the forum.

I should add the spring bars for the mesh bracelet are thinner than the standard spring bars for my OEM rubber strap…
